Non-Disclosure & User Agreement
This app is an early beta test. Please read and accept the agreement below before continuing. It protects both you and the real people whose information you may see while testing.
In plain terms: by continuing, you agree to keep what you see in this beta, including its features, how it works, and any other person's private information you come across, to yourself, and to understand this is a work in progress that could have bugs or lose data. The full terms below are what actually govern your use.
This Beta Program Non-Disclosure and User Agreement ("Agreement") is between All Hair Connect ("AHC," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") and the individual accepting this Agreement to access the app ("you," "your," or "Beta Tester"). By checking the box below and continuing, you accept and agree to be bound by it.
1. Background and purpose.
All Hair Connect (the "App") is a pre-release, invitation-based beta version of a barbering and cosmetology platform, including the professional/student toolkit, the client-facing Hair Passport, and the Find a Pro public directory. It is provided solely so you may test, evaluate, and give feedback on it. It is not a finished, commercial product, and your access does not make you a customer, employee, partner, or agent of the Company.
2. Confidential information.
"Confidential Information" means any non-public information disclosed to you or that you observe through your use of the App, including: the App's existence as an unreleased or beta product and any features not yet public; business, marketing, and monetization plans; the App's underlying design, source code, database structure, and technical implementation; security practices and access credentials; and any other information a reasonable person would understand to be confidential. It does not include information that is or becomes public through no fault of yours, that you already lawfully knew, that you independently developed, or that you rightfully receive from someone else without a duty of confidentiality.
3. Your obligations.
You agree to keep Confidential Information strictly confidential; use it only to test and evaluate the App for the Company's benefit; not copy, screenshot, record, publish, or post any part of the App publicly (except to privately report a bug or feedback to the Company); not reverse engineer or extract its source code or structure; and take reasonable care to protect it, at least as much care as you'd use with your own confidential information.
4. Other users' personal information.
You may see real personal information belonging to other people, such as a client's visit history, a professional's license information, or another user's contact details. You agree to treat this as strictly confidential, access it only as needed to provide or receive an actual service through the App, and never use it for marketing or any other purpose. You agree not to attempt to identify an anonymous reviewer on Find a Pro.
5. Feedback.
Any feedback, bug reports, or suggestions you send may be used, shared, and built on by the Company for any purpose, without payment or attribution to you.
6. Beta software; no warranty.
The App is an early-stage beta provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. It may contain bugs, be unavailable at times, or lose, corrupt, or alter data. Don't rely on it as your sole or official record of hours, licensure progress, or client history during the beta period.
7. Limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the App during the beta program.
8. Ownership; no license.
The App and all Confidential Information remain the sole property of the Company. This Agreement gives you no ownership interest, only a limited, revocable right to access the App for beta testing.
9. Term.
This Agreement takes effect when you accept it and continues for as long as you have access to the App. Your confidentiality obligations survive after your access ends or the beta concludes, for as long as the information remains confidential.
10. Who may agree to this.
By accepting, you represent you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must contact the Company directly to arrange your participation.
11. Governing law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
12. Changes. The Company may update this Agreement as the beta evolves; you'll be asked to review and accept any updated terms the next time you access the App.
